On Tuesday, December 3rd, we welcomed our local Poppy Appeal organiser for the Royal British Legion, Daimon Brown, to Burridge Club. After an interesting chat about the amount raised locally and how Daimon was invited to take part in the Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall, we handed over the cheque for the £1000 raised at our Poppy Doubles competition.
