Cobbetts again entered two teams in the 9-a-side league. The format reverted to one division of 8 teams splitting into 2 divisions after everyone has played each other once. The main team, having won the championship for six successive years, had to settle for 3rd place. New captain, Richard Greeves, struggling with the loss of some key players. The ‘Extras’ team made Division 1 at the half-way split and finished a very creditable 4th, inflicting the only defeat on champions River Hamble.

There were again three teams entered in the 6-a-side league.
The ‘A’ team were unlucky to finish as runners-up having lost only one match all season and having done the double over champions River Hamble.
The ‘B’ team did well to pull themselves away from the relegation battle to finish in 5th place. They also had a new captain, Lee Redfern, and also suffered to some extent from the loss of key players..
The ‘Seasiders’ team finished 4th in Division 3 West .
